Me and Human Child
Tuesday. Shot of blood. Work. Lunch. More work. Home. Music, Japanese, Meiko Kaji. Another shot of blood. I lay on an empty picnic table in the courtyard of the apartment complex. Several large buildings surrounding a small playground/park in an oblong circle. It's dark now. The darkness comforts me. I'm not alone. I hear the sounds of the highway. The sounds of the city. People's TV's in their apartments. And I hear the child on the swing. I feel it watching me. Staring at me. I want it to go away. It can see me lay here, alone. Time passes, I don't move.
